Tryout Registration

There are four steps to register for our 2022-23 tryouts. This registration process applies to all travel (Club and Select) teams. Please note that the In-House Program (including Juniors) has a separate registration. More info can be found on the In-House League page.

1. Register with Carolina One (registration opens Sept. 15)
   Please note that there are two separate registrations for our Greenville and Pickens locations - make sure to choose the correct location. Once you've chosen the location, you need to register in the appropriate age group - Tryouts division.  
   
   Once you choose the program you want to sign up for, you will be asked to create an account in the Sports Connect system. If you have participated in any program with us in the last five years, you should have an existing account and can simply login. Otherwise you will need to create a new one. When registering, please set up the account under the person financially responsible for the account (parent or guardian). Once registered, you will be able to add family members to your account (players). After adding all children to your account, you will see available registration options for them based on their birthdates.
   
   NOTE: You must fill out and upload the USAV 2022-23 Medical Release Form [PDF Version] or [Microsoft Word Version] during the tryout registration process. You can scan or take a picture of the form once completed in order to upload it. This is mandatory to be able to participate in tryouts.
   
   
2. Register or renew your registration with the Palmetto Region (registration opens Sept. 1). (see additional information below, or view this quick video for help). *NOTE: All players must initially sign up for a "Tryout Membership" ($15). Once you have committed to C1, you will receive an invitation through the SportsEngine system to associate your account with Carolina One in the USAV/SportsEngine system. After registering, please print your current year membership card OR save it to your phone to show at tryouts. You will not be able to tryout without proof of a paid USAV membership.
   
   
3. Pay the tryout fee online (available through registration system). You MUST pay the fee online - cash and check will NOT be accepted and you will not be allowed to tryout if the fee has not been paid. 
   
   
4. If you are trying out for multiple clubs, you are required to fill out the Palmetto Region Multi Club Tryout Disclosure form.

Helpful Hints

1. Read through our club policies to get a better idea of each of our team levels, expectations, and benefits. When you accept a spot on a C1 team, you will be required to sign a commitment form agreeing to follow all club policies.
