Summer Position & Skill Clinics

Position & Skill Clinics are designed to provide athletes with high-level, specific training for their position or specific volleyball skills. This year, we will offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level clinics. *Carolina One reserves the right to move an athlete to the different clinic levels based on ability as all clinics will be held as same time for the specific position or skill.

  • Beginner clinics are appropriate for ages 8-14 years old with limited to no prior volleyball experience. It is common and recommended to repeat Beginner Clinics as repetition is important for skill development and confidence especially when learning a new skill.*
  • Intermediate clinics are appropriate for ages 13-18 years old with Middle School, JV, High School, AND at least 2 years of club volleyball experience. An athlete must have a demonstrated competence at the fundamentals related to said skill / position.*
  • Advanced clinics are appropriate for ages 15-18 years old with high level of club experience. These clinics go beyond skill development as athletes are expected to be prepared physically and mentally to train at a high level.*

If there is a skill or position you would like to work on, but don't see offered, please contact us to request it.
