In-House Team Program - Greenville
Overview
Our In-House Team Program is designed to provide an alternative for players who can't or don't want to commit to traveling during the club season. Our 2024-25 Greenville location will offer all age groups with practices at C1 Sportsplex in Mauldin. No tryouts are required for this program but there is a capacity limit for each age group, so if the program is full, a wait list will be enacted. Players will be placed on teams based on their age and ability level, which will be evaluated during the first month of practice. Teams will be composed of 10 players and one coach. The In-House Team season lasts approximately 15 weeks, from mid November to mid March.
The Greenville In-House Program will have three age divisions. Note that we follow USAV age divisions. Find your age division here.
- Juniors - 12U and younger age groups
- Middle School - 13U and 14U age groups
- High School - 15U and 16U age groups
NOTE: If you plan to also tryout for our Travel Teams, but would participate in the In-House program if the athlete does not make a travel team, we strongly suggest going ahead and registering the athlete for the In-House program when registration opens. We cannot guarantee that spots will be available in the In-house program after tryouts. Any fees paid towards In-House will be transferred to travel team fees if the athlete accepts a spot on a travel team.
Program Description
Our In-House Teams are a great choice for beginning players looking to improve their volleyball skills and knowledge, as well as more experienced players who can't or don't want to travel during the club season. The In-House program is also open to players who are not selected for a travel team as long as capacity limitations allow it to ensure proper player-to-coach ratio.
The season will run approximately 15 weeks total. The first part of the season (mid November-late December) will include 1 practice per week, and coaches will focus on teaching individual volleyball skills and building players' confidence on and off the volleyball court. The second part of the season will begin in January. During this session, players will be divided into teams, which will continue to practice once a week, and coaches will introduce and develop team skills while also maintaining individual skills.
Also beginning in January, our Juniors teams will participate in multiple Kidz Power tournaments that are half-day tournaments, playing other Kidz Power teams from around the Palmetto Region. Our Middle School & High School teams will participate in multiple inter-club scrimmages with Carolina One State and Regional teams and will also participate in one Palmetto Region tournament against other Palmetto Region teams.
Scrimmages and tournaments could take place on Saturdays or Sundays so please consult the schedule below.

Registration
There are three steps to register for an In-House Team and it is HIGHLY recommended to register via the Carolina One ASAP as these programs are expected to fill to capacity and a wait list may be enabled. Registration will open September 15, 2024.
1. Register with Carolina One Registration will open Sept. 15, 2024
Make sure to choose the Greenville In-House location. Once you choose the program, you will be asked to create an account in the Sports Connect system. If you have participated in any program with us in the last five years, you should have an existing account and can simply login. Otherwise you will need to create a new one. When registering, please set up the account under the person financially responsible for the account (parent or guardian). Once registered, you will be able to add family members to your account (players). After adding all children to your account, you will see available registration options for them based on their birthdates.
NOTE: You must fill out and upload the USAV 2024-25 Medical Release Form [PDF Version] or [Microsoft Word Version] during the registration process. You can scan or take a picture of the form once completed in order to upload it. This is mandatory to be able to participate.
2. Register or renew your registration with the Palmetto Region. (registration opens Sept. 1 - not required at program registration but is required for participation in the program).
All players must initially sign up for a "Tryout Membership" ($15). Even though there is not a tryout for our In-House program, a "Tryout Membership" is required to be associated with C1. Once the program has started, you will receive an invitation through the SportsEngine system to associate your account with Carolina One in the USAV/SportsEngine system and to upgrade to a full Palmetto Region membership. This gets confusing for most so to start try to register for a Tryout Membership via the Region or wait for Director Lauren to contact the entire program once registration has completed and the season has started. A full $55 USAV Season Membership is required to participate in the program to comply with USAV and Palmetto Region policies.
3. Review the C1 Club Policies (coming soon) for our In-House program. You will be asked to sign a commitment form agreeing to follow the C1 Club Policies when your athlete accepts a spot in the In-House program.
