Spring Position & Skill Clinics

Position & Skill Clinics are designed to provide athletes with high-level, specific training for their position or specific volleyball skills. This year, we will offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level clinics. *Carolina One reserves the right to move an athlete to the different clinic levels based on ability, as all clinics will be held at the same time for the specific position or skill.

  • Beginner clinics are appropriate for ages 8-14 years old with limited to no prior volleyball experience. It is common and recommended to repeat Beginner Clinics as repetition is important for skill development and confidence especially when learning a new skill.*
  • Intermediate clinics are appropriate for ages 13-18 years old with Middle School, JV, High School, AND at least 2 years of club volleyball experience. An athlete must have a demonstrated competence at the fundamentals related to said skill / position.*
  • Advanced clinics are appropriate for high school athletes ages 15-18 years old with a minimum of 3-4 years of high level club experience. These clinics go beyond skill development as athletes are expected to be prepared physically and mentally to train at a high level.*

If there is a skill or position you would like to work on, but don't see offered, please contact us to request it.

Cost: $20 per class

COVID-19 Policies

Please refer to the following webpage for Carolina One's COVID-19 Policies: https://www.carolinaonevolleyball.com/Default.aspx?tabid=2734442. Our mask policies are consistent with CDC recommendations at this time. We’re in constant communication with medical professionals to ensure our policies are up to date in order to keep players, families, and coaches safe.

At a minimum:

  • Athletes should wear masks when entering the gym. It is then up to the athlete if they want to keep their mask on during the class or take it off. We will have hand sanitizer available and will encourage social distancing at all potential opportunities.
  • Only one adult is allowed in the building per athlete. We have an adult waiting area at the back of the gym, but most parents drop off their athlete and return at the end of the class. If an adult is staying, masks must always be worn.
