Recruiting Support from Carolina One

Playing club volleyball does not guarantee college recruitment or scholarships, but the coaches and staff at Carolina One are committed to making sure our players who want to be recruited have the necessary resources to promote themselves to college coaches. The player and the parent have the primary responsibility for driving the recruiting process. Carolina One Volleyball will assist with the recruitment process by offering the following:

  1. On the Carolina One website, we will list relevant recruiting links with information for all levels of play. It is the responsibility of the player and parent to access this information and use it to guide the player's recruitment.
  2. Team entry into National Qualifier tournaments and other large events for our Power, Elite and National teams. These tournaments are very popular with college coaches as they can observe many players in one location.
  3. Help contacting college coaches. The Club Director, Recruiting Coordinator, and club coaches have developed relationships with college coaches over the years. If needed we will contact coaches on your behalf.
  4. Recruiting advice. If a player or parent has recruiting questions, we can offer advice or help them find the answer.

The most important thing to keep in mind is to be realistic about what level of college volleyball you can compete at, and to consider your academic interests first. Your club and school coaches can help you decide what level and type of schools to target during the recruiting process.

Be sure to view our Recruiting To-Do List for things you can do on your own to start the recruiting process.
