About Elizabeth

Elizabeth began playing volleyball competitively in middle school. During her high school years, she played volleyball year-round, starting with high school season in the fall, club season in the winter/spring and region high performance season in the summer. As a four-year starter for Fort Mill High School, Elizabeth was selected to the 2004 All-South Carolina team, named the Region 3-AAAA Player of the Year and a CAWS All-Star, a member of the All-Region squad three years, and tabbed as her school’s Offensive Player of the Year two years. She played club volleyball for Carolina Juniors in Charlotte, NC and garnered All-USAV Carolina Region Team accolades three years in a row. She was a member of the Carolina Region Junior High Performance Team in 2003 and 2004, representing North and South Carolina.

Elizabeth attended Wofford College in where she was a four-year starter and two-year captain for the school's varsity volleyball team. As a consistent leader in team kills and blocks, Elizabeth earned multiple All-Tournament recognitions and was named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll. In 2008, Elizabeth was nominated as the Wofford Female Athlete of the Year by coaches and players. She fell one point shy of tying the school record for All-Time Points.

Elizabeth began coaching non-travel teams during her time with Carolina Juniors and coached at numerous summer camps for Wofford College and Carolina Juniors throughout college. In 2010, Elizabeth began her Varsity coaching career as Head Varsity Coach at Easley High School, leading the team to a second place finish in Region 1-AAAA. She received her IMPACT certification in January 2011. In 2010-11, Elizabeth coached the 16 National team, leading them to a 1st-place finish at OVA President's Day Invite in Orlando, two 2nd-place finishes (K2 Wilderness & Peachtree Classic), and a 4th-place finish out of 39 teams at the Regional Championships.

This year, she is the head coach for the 17 National team.
