OverviewCarolina One Power teams are high-level teams offering strong competition and requiring a serious level of commitment. Teams will be composed of 10-11 players, a head coach and an assistant coach. Teams will practice two times a week, and will compete in 7-8 tournaments during the season, primarily outside of the Palmetto Region, including one National Qualifier. The Power Team season runs from tryouts in October/November to early April. Select Power teams may continue to practice and compete in the AAU National Championships in June, dependent on player and parent commitment, at an additional cost. InvestmentCost for the 2011-12 Carolina One Power teams is $1100 and includes all team practices, position practices, QSA training, coaching fees, gym fees, 7-8 tournaments, region registration fee, 2 jerseys, 2 pairs of spandex, socks, sweats/warmups, backpack, and 2 t-shirts. Fees do not include travel expenses such as hotels, gas or food. Program fee is payable in four installments of $275. ScheduleTryouts for the 2011-12 Power teams will begin in late October.
